Hi. I’m Simon and Suffolk County Webmasters is my company.
I’m an Englishman. I moved to The United States in 2008 to marry and start a family. I founded Sucoweb in 2011, with the aim of making web design as simple and accessible as possible.
I’ve been in business for twenty five years, but I didn’t take a traditional route into web design. My background is not in graphic design or in IT: instead, I’m an English Literature graduate who became an English teacher. Subsequently, I spent many successful years in Sales & Marketing Management before turning my attention to the web, which became a passion. I believe the positive aspects of the internet outweigh the negative aspects by a huge margin: the internet’s potential as a force for business, for growth and for good is limitless. The best and the worst of humanity is online, but I still think the best is winning.
My team and I build and manage websites that are designed to work. All other factors are subordinate to that. Whatever job your website needs to do, its success or failure will be measured by how well it does that job and nothing else.
When I’m not building, managing and optimizing sites, I like to play my piano, play video games, read endlessly and spend time with my wife and my two boys. I love to talk, but I try to listen. Hopefully I’ll meet you soon. Thanks for stopping by!
